Datuk Seri Ir. Dr. Wee Ka Siong (Chinese: 魏家祥; born 20 October 1968) is a Malaysian politician and engineer who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ayer Hitam, Johor, since March 2004 [1]. He was born in Jasin, Melaka, to a Hakka clan and was raised in Tampin, Negeri Sembilan [1]. He attended SJK(C) Yu Hsien primary school and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Datuk Bendahara Jasin before reading Civil Engineering at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) from 1986 to 1991 [1]. He subsequently completed a Master of Engineering in Traffic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and a Doctorate in Transport Planning at UTM [2].
