About

Observe Beyond Noise.

CERAP is an intelligence-driven media platform built for Malaysia. We exist to bridge the information silos between the country’s Malay, Chinese, and Indian communities so they can read the same truth and see one nation through one another’s eyes.

The problem we’re solving

Malaysians have never had more news, and never had less clarity. Coverage of a single event fragments across dozens of outlets, each language community reads a different version, and the gap between what one community knows and what another knows hardens into prejudice.

A want of understanding, left to linger, becomes mistrust. CERAP exists to change that.

What we are

CERAP is a clarity platform, not a newspaper. Every event becomes one Story — a single canonical destination that integrates the summary, key points, narrative, labelled perspectives, explainers, timeline, and verified facts into one layered reading experience.

A reader who has 15 seconds gets the summary. A reader who has two minutes gets context and impact. A reader who wants depth gets perspectives, timelines, and sources. Depth is opt-in; clarity is the entry.

Our promise

One event = one Story = one URL. When coverage evolves, the Story updates in place. We don’t spawn duplicate articles that compete for your attention.

Balance is the brand

Every News and Analysis Story carries labelled perspectives — Government, Opposition, Expert, Public, Industry, Affected — clearly attributed and visually distinct from verified facts. Order doesn’t imply endorsement. A Story without at least two distinct perspective labels does not publish.

This is the brand essence — Intelligent. Unbiased. Clear. — encoded into the product, not asserted on a page.

How we work

AI assists. Humans verify. Artificial intelligence helps us cluster sources, draft summaries, and suggest perspectives — but no reader-facing AI output ships without a named editor signing off. Provenance is recorded on every Story so we know exactly which sentences originated where.

We deliberately reject outrage mechanics. No infinite scroll, no autoplay, no rage notifications. Trending is quality-gated. Latest exposes an explicit “you’re caught up’ end-state so reading CERAP feels finite and intentional, not anxious.

Who we are

CERAP is published by Samajaya Marketing Sdn Bhd, an independent Malaysian company. We are not owned by a political party, a religious institution, or a foreign entity. We answer to readers.
